Re-navigation, recounts a life turned upside down when forty-year-old Julia journeys from the sanctuary of middle-class Australian suburbia to undertake a retreat at an isolated ecumenical college. Instead of spiritual sanctuary, Julia finds her long-held principles tested and begins to question the course of her life.

Set on an unnamed Welsh island and in Queensland, the novel explores the tenuous nature of personal and spiritual relationships and our ambivalent attachment to outback Australia.
